Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, who was born on 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of, is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with several films in Malayalam. The actress was honoured with the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati. Additionally, she was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her first acting experience began in the mid 2000s. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. While the film did not do well at the box office, her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in with Vikramprabhu. In order to accommodate bigger projects because of her busy schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. But, the movie has been delayed since 2015, with reports of release after September 2020 under a name change to Janakitho Nenu. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016, featuring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
