Jillian Nellie Hennely was born on the 25th of November in 1968. She is a renowned Canadian singer and actress who has made a significant contribution to American television. The show has been highly praised for her outstanding performances on the American television series Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons. She also appeared on Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character over a period of six years. Hennessy's acting skills were also evident in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced films, she flexed both co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988 when she along with her sister acted as twin Callgirls on Dead Ringers. She appeared briefly in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in the year 1990. In 1993, the actress made her way out of musicals to enter the science-fiction genre, playing Doctor. Marie Lazarus. Her breakthrough came at the end of 1993 in the form of a role as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. This character captivated viewers for three seasons, until she left it in 1996. Parker is known for her role in films as well as television series including RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side and the West Wing Angels of America. The actress was awarded an award for her performance in the series a Golden Globe Award for Best actress and also an Emmy Award. Parker was also awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 for her performance in the Broadway show Proof.
